The Crooked Road - Bluegrass

Hand dyed and hand carded locally produced Coopworth wool in a lovely batt for spinning or felting!  From my Crooked Road line of products that are named for traditional and bluegrass songs. This wool was produced by Jennifer over on Belcher Mountain; she carded the lovely natural gray wool of her Coopworth sheep into a loftly batt.  I sold some of the carded wool as it came from her farm but this last 20 ounces inspired me to add a little color.  I dyed portions of the wool in blue, red and yellow and then recarded the batts to create an excellent preparation for beginners and advanced spinners alike.  The batts are predominately blue with streaks of red and yellow; see additional picture for spun samples.  100% Coopworth wool, net weight 4 ounces.  Four 4 ounce batts available.

NOTE: This is a hand made item. Variations in color concentration occur from batt to batt.
